Everyone is on Your Team
Any transaction can be fun if you have the right team assembled. Whether you know it or not, everyone apart of the transaction is on the same team. That’s right – even the buyer or the seller on the other end of the transaction (who we’re negotiating with) is on our team.
It may not seem like it, but it’s not an “us vs. them”, it’s an “us vs. our needs”. The Importance of Your Real Estate Team is massive, and the right members can positively affect your experience and timeline.
Consider this Mindset
We all have different reasons for Buying a Home and Selling a Home, just as we have different incomes and lifestyles. Sure, sometimes we can’t connect together in the negotiation stages, that sucks, but it’s okay! We couldn’t connect our needs. Learn from the disconnect and go find the next opportunity.

Find an Agent Who You Connect With
Here in the Columbia Gorge, we have a lot of agents in the industry who don’t have a lot of experience. It’s often complained about that these agents don’t communicate enough or take the transaction seriously. Think back to any of the horror stories you’ve ever heard of regarding a real estate transaction. Do you think it could have been avoided with a strong team of full time professionals on each side of the transaction? The answer was yes, it could have been avoided.
Conclusion
Don’t skimp on building your real estate team. If you find a good professional, treat them well! Keep them for as long as you can. They will return the favor with heightened attention and service for years to come.
